Now is the time to act.

I am pissed, every year we have some sort of mass shooting in this country and what is to blame.  Some will say it is mental health but it come down to our gun laws.  No first off understand I am a hunter and I understand what a gun is for it only has one purpose and that is to kill.  I have used my 308, 410 and 44 magnum for hunting to feed my family in Rural Alaska.  I am in support of guns for hunting but you do not need a machine gun for hunting.  Come on you put to many bullets in to the body there is no meat left for you to eat.  It is BULLSHIT.  The NRA has to much control over the 2nd amendment it is a monopoly and we are guaranteed by the constitution to not have Monopolies in this country.

I have had students bring weapons to school but they were used for hunting after school.  Save for on incident when a student came in drunk and threatened to kill himself and come back and kill every one else in the school.  I told him as long as it was done in that order it was fine with me.  After his Uppa knocked him unconscious we loaded him to the schools truck and took him the village jail.  Although it is kind of funny it's not had he access to a weapon he would have use it. 

Schools today have police officers in them that they pay for taking money from the students.  A church I visited had an armed security guard.  what is a safe place anymore when you can't feel safe at school or church then you lock yourself inside you house and isolate yourself.  Students will prefer to stay at home and learn online missing out on the social interactions of the school setting. 

I am an advocate for gun control in the USA.  We have to have some limits on who can own a firearm.  If you think that everyone should be armed including teachers than you are sadly mistaken.  I don't care who you are that is a stupid and provable idea.  Trust me not all teachers are normal. 

I left teaching in AK because every year I lost at least one kid to suicide the last thing I would want to see in some kid coming back and shooting up the classroom.  My PTSD is already fucked up from losing to many kids that were close to me.  Ask any teacher and they will tell you how close they are to their kids.  In the rural villages these kids are in your home at dinner or in a Maqee (a steam house)  Yes you get naked in a steam with some students, it is a different world out there.  We had one of the first school shootings in 1996 in Bethel were a student came to school and shot the principal dead.  Now if you are from Alaska you understand Bethel and the problems with alcohol plus they had two gangs the dickies and the carhartts go figure.  Life in AK is a lot like the old west that is why I would never deny a hunter for his gun, they need to feed themselves and their kin.

Now is gun control the final answer, no it is not we need better health care in this nation especially when it comes to mental health.  While I was teaching in Galena most of the people were put on Paxil due to the long nights during the winter, it's depressing.  While in Barrow the northern most town in America I was on anti-depressant for the 24 hours of darkness.  Yes I was there when "30 days of darkness," was released and I didn't see any Vampires.

The long and short of it is this, kids are getting hold of automatic weapons and we need to stop it.  Not just automatic weapons but each year some teen is killed by fooling around with a gun in their house or a friends.  If we love our kids and want them to be safe and if you are a hunter be sure to school your kids on the proper use and cleaning of the weapon and take them out with you so they understand the consequences of their actions with a firearm.

I am really pissed off right now...

All right I am pretty pissed off about somethings public and personal.  First off let's deal with the Three year old acting A President Trump I think we need a grassroots recall election against him he is acting like a toddler and this has to stop he could do something really really bad for our country.  Granted it is funny as all get out but we are now the butt of all the world's jokes and trust me it's not fun being the punchline, I know.  He is just wrong for our country just like Wal-mart. 

I had a fall a few days back and cut myself above the left eye so I have some stitches and my face hurts so what do I do medicate myself with alcohol cause I don't have any pain pills I am using Ibuprofen  and some alcohol to kill the pain and I drank to much so one night I end up at CBI Community Bridges, Inc They are supposed to help the drunks and addicts to get detox and placement into a program to help you out.  so I go to CBI and I sleep off my drunkenness which is fine thank you then the guy to help get placement comes and says hey you have gone to all the night time places that we call for placement so you gotta leave and kicks me out of the place Fuck them  They do nothing but give you peanut butter sandwiches and  a place to crash for 24 hrs they suck they say they are going give you help but then then don't The nurse said I was going into de-tox but then they kicked me out the bathrooms never work and are worse than a jail's.

The rare time that I did get placed into a program which wasn't even a program "Start Living" out in Laveen was a halfway house that had you work for them You give them your FOOD STAMPS and then they send you out to wash dishes at some restaurants or at GCU (who fucked me over online and never dropped my class but gave me an F instead).    Then there is "Extended Hands"  a guy who thinks that God saved him from heroin but he uses steroids instead to pump him self up.  bed bugs and more indentured servitude they don't give any food but you can keep you r FOOD STAMP card at least so you can get something to eat and then everyday you place flyers on peoples houses early like at 4 am and then you walk 5 or 6 miles putting out the damned flyers.

This is what is available to people in Phoenix who want get off the street and make a better life for themselves.  don't even ask me about the shelter it is horrible out here so I am grateful for anything that people can do to help me out.  Life is hard and I don't w2ant to be a charity my plans are to go to south mountain community college and do their music business program so maybe I can do something right for the first time in life oh yeah and one last thing FUCK YOU TINA!!!!!

Today is a new day and I intend to make the most of it!!!  I love you all Save those who have no common decency and just kick a person out!!

Fear and Loathing in Phoenix

I had been hanging outside of the venue waiting for the speech to end up I was covering Trump's Phoenix speech for a local news rag just to keep me a float.  I was outside taking a smoke break when a black limo pulled up and grabbed me from behind.  "Are you ready for the night of your life?"  the very distinct voice came from behind me, it was the Donald!!!  Damn I didn't expect an exclusive or anything "I saw you over there in the press pit and it looked like you needed some time out of the pit."  I didn't know what to say but went along with it all.  Thomas Payne is the name and I am trying to write up an article on you sir, what can you tell me?  "Ahh Fuck that let's have some fun we're gonna go and get a friend of mine to paint this town red.  Hey Walden, the driver, let's go and get Joe.  Next thing I knew we were joined by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.  Damn to right wing nutters in a limo with a libertine this can't end well.

We pulled up to some casino and went in the back way to cut down on the papacrappi  we were whisked into an elevator and up to a hotel room.  "Anything you need we can get for you sir (an Indian porter told me as I cradled my champagne from the waitress outside)"  I sat down and tried to get my mind around what was happening President Donald was yelling orders into a phone while Sheriff Joe rocked back and forth repeating "this is gonna be great"

Ten minutes later a group of girls showed up with a dealer and some casino games.  we had our own private casino in the penthouse suite of some casino in Phoenix that I didn't even know about.  The Donald was doing blow off of the hookers ass while sheriff Joe was running around wanting to be butt fucked by some Latina hooker.  I just sat down and started playing Blackjack.  After about fifty minutes Donald wanted a Mexican Water show and Sheriff Joe wasn't far behind.  I stepped out for a smoke on the patio with a girl named Linda who was corralled into the whole party thing, she was working on her bachelor's at ASU in Nursing and this is how she paid her way through college.  It never bothered me so I gave her my winnings from the Blackjack table.  I asked the porter if he had any whip-its or if he could procure some for me and Linda  in less than five minutes we had a full tank of nitrous oxide keeping us laughing all night long.  We watched while The Donald built a wall of dead soldiers (Tecate he likes the mexicana).  And then demolish it while A half naked Sheriff Joe Bounced around pulling over latina hookers and paying them in blow.  What A night then I called for turkey bowling via room service.  To Be Continued...

George Orwell's self-fulfilling prophecy

Today I visited a few stores for prescriptions and my daily meals.  At almost every store there was an armed security guard.  Hell, I went to church on Sunday and there was an armed security guard.  I think some how we have become a Police state without any one saying anything about it.  Everywhere we go we are be recorded on video.  Everything is set up to watch you and anything that you do.  When I taught in a urban school in Alaska we had an armed Police officer. I think is more unsettling at least to me that there is someone there with a gun, that only has one purpose.  I don't like it, I don't like it at all next thing you know they are going to start checking our ID's (papers).  It just makes feel that we in some way are giving over our rights to the new American Gestapo.  Whether we like it or not we are becoming a fascist society.  we need to stop it before it gets to far out of reach or maybe it already has?!?!?!?!?!?!

I thank God that we have the for sight to stop it I think.  It seems that a few bad apples have made a mass hysteria for the rest of us and we are giving up our rights as citizens.

In light of my friendships to many people I am leaving the names out of this addenda.  But if you need to lie to me at least tell me that 3 inches is equal to 6 inches if your going to fuck me.

I've got some bitching to do and no one is safe.

Last night I went to the free Sugar Ray concert after the Diamondbacks game.  Now I don't usually bitch about other artist, well some times.  It turned out to be Mark McGrath and a drummer playing to a backing track doing songs from Sugar Ray and then other peoples tunes like Smash Mouth, EMF and House of Pain amongst others.  I thought it was pretty bogus but they were pushing Crystal Pepsi from the 90's and were focused on some songs from that era.  But still it was pretty Lame.  At least I got three T-shirts out of the show.

I lost my ID and then I tried to get my prescription for Oxycodone for my back, and yes I am seeing a pain specialist but the script was from my Primary Practitioner.  Walgreens in their infinite wisdom tells me that they cannot fill it but if I get a script for Percocet from the ER then they did.  and thus told me that they would no longer fill any scripts from an ER or short term painkillers.  I had a script from My Doctor for 90 pills and they wouldn't fill it.  They will gladly fill any other script from an urgent care or outside doctor save for my Pain pills.  I am sorry that I broke my back three times and have a disease that causes me to have chronic kidney stones (Renal Tubular Acidosis type 2) but I will gladly take my ibuprofen that my kidney doctor says is bad for me or the tylenol that will FUCK up my liver.  SO FUCK You TRUMP all about the Opioid epidemic.  The war on drugs has never been won nor will it ever.  Look at other countries and see how they tackle it.  I am just going to get my Medical Marijuana card and get extremely paranoid.

So back to my ID I am hoping that MY Alaskan ID is at Yellow Cab and I will try to get over there next monday I made it there last Saturday but told to come back on Monday.  I also lost my wallet that had my Food Stamps card so now I am sans ID, Library Card, Food Stamps, Social Security and Insurance Card.  FUCK MY LIFE, EH!?!??!?

So what to bitch about now, Hmm...Ok, Trump all though it is way to easy to complain about this moronic idiot that doesn't know his thumb from his big toe.  I don't know if North Korea has the tools to contrive a nuclear war.  I do know that they could easily blow the shit out of South Korea and I think that Kim Jong Il is just about crazy enough to do something like that.  Now I don't think that we should condemn the North Koreans for having a Nuclear Program nor do I believe that we should hinder any country from developing a Nuclear Program.  That is their right as a sovereign nation just like we did or Russia or any other Nuclear power.  Now do I think that he is a mad man, Hell yeah but than again so is Donald Trump.  He is worse than my old Uncle in Philly who would rant about the African-Americans, The Italians, The Jews and any other minority that got his jib at the time and of course he was not politically correct by any means.  I think the only ethnic group he sided with was the Irish because he was of that descent.

I am worried about My kids and Ex-wife and friends in Alaska because I think if the North Koreans were going to move forward they would go there first.  And remember AK was the only state other than Hawaii to see any action during World War 2.  You might not know it but it is true so I would not put it past them by any means.  With that said I need to thank two Republicans namely Lisa Murkowski and John McCain.  They both stepped up and said no to Trump and the Senate to keep Insurance for all Americans.

Not that anything I say will change the minds of any one or public opinion in any way but I need to give my two cents so there you go and apparently I've got 2 dollars and no sense.
